My First Affiliate Marketing Website

I retired from my retail job of 30 years due to disability a few years ago with the vague idea I'd work from home or get disability. Discovering that my computer, typing and office skills were very 'meh', I might be might have still been able score a work from home job were I not VERY MUCH an introvert who shuts down at job interviews. Selling myself is not my strong suit. I also discovered that what I could get from disability, on the off chance I'd get approved for it, was $500 less than it would take to keep my head barely above water. I had an epiphany-I'm sick to death of my financial future being in the hands of other people and done answering to any one else while being made to feel old and useless. I started out knowing what maybe 3 functions in Microsoft Word did. When I used to have computer problems I'd point to my nephew and say "make it work, please". I come from the 'control alt delete' school of computer repair. I've spent the last few months going to the university of free YouTube tutorials for making money online. I have successfully gotten my printer connected to my computer for the first time in 4 years and gotten my scanner to work(yeah, laugh tech nerds, this was a major accomplishment for me) I now know what SEOs, landing pages and drop shipping is. This is the first clumsy step of what will be my digital affiliate marketing business. I am learning how to do new things every day, I know where I want to go and many ways to get there. I Don't know how long it will take, but it's just a matter of learning how to do the things that I need to do to get me where I want to go. My brain is slower than it used to be, but it still works. This site isn't perfect, it's not niche enough to rank in Google, but it's a first step and I'm kinda proud of it.

The hardest thing about doing this is simply focusing and finishing one thing and following it through. There are so many ideas of how to earn money it's been overwhelming. I'd keep starting things and getting frustrated or distracted. I've narrowed my focus-learning to do one thing at a time and then following through with it before going to the next. This website is mostly me with the help of AI. I chose or generated the images and decided where to put them. The articles are partially generated with AI, edited by me. A large part of the cat and dog safety post was written by me and the humor is all me. I am thus far unimpressed with AI humor, but it's great for research and brainstorming. You can get a decent article if you have a really detailed prompt. I'm not at all sure if those Temu links are doing what they are supposed to. If anyone uses them, let me know if they worked. They all take me to my picks list page. I'm curious if they take someone else straight to the item. Either I'm not doing this correctly or their site is messed up. Either way, I'm done messing with it.

Enjoy, and shop if you want to.........
